MANUFACTURING PROCESS
KT Soap’s manufacturing process is composed of three stages: a saponification loop, pneumatic conveying system, and automated bagging system. These stages combined create a fully-automated soap noodle manufacturing plant with zero waste and zero effluent. The efficiencies our process delivers in both energy usage and zero waste generation are part of KT Soap’s ‘waste not, want not’ mentality. We are proud to lead the future of soap-making while chiefly being stewards of the environment.
SAPONIFICATION LOOP
Our closed saponification loop is able to saponify any fatty acids with oils producing neat liquid soap at 55-71% total fatty matter. This loop generates complete saponification of all raw materials without any mechanical action, resulting in energy savings.
PNEUMATIC CONVEYING SYSTEM
Finished soap noodles are transported via blower to a bin silo where they will eventually be bagged. Soap dust created in the manufacturing process is collected by a vacuum at this juncture and can be reused in future loads, eliminating waste from the process.
BAGGING SYSTEM
Our fully automated bagging system is capable of filling bags ranging in size from 50 pounds to 1,800 pounds, depending on your needs.
